After breakfast our professional English speaking driver will pick you up at your Hotel in Athens. Visit the UNESCO-listed archaeological site of Olympia. Marvel at the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the archaeological Museum. Continue via Patras and see the famous Antirion Bridge which is considered to be the most modern in Europe.

Explore the Greek history of the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Pass by the famous Corinth Canal – a canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth (Ionian Sea) with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea – to the North-West part of Peloponnese where Ancient Olympia is located.
You will have the chance to explore the Archaeological Site and Museum of Olympia, the Museum of the History of the Olympic Games of Antiquity and the the oldest stone temple in Greece, the Temple of Hera (or Heraion/Heraeum) and the Temple of Zeus, the Pelopion – the funerary monument in honor of King Pelops, who, according to a myth, was the one who organized the first games and became famous and gave his name to Peloponnese (Pelop’s Island) – and the area of the altar, where the sacrifices were made.
Continue your route with your driver and arrive back to Athens in the late afternoon. Time for lunch during the trip.
